As a Fire Sprinkler Foreman, you will lead the installation of critical fire protection systems in both new construction and renovation projects. Operating with minimal supervision, you are responsible for overseeing the fabrication and installation of steel and CPVC piping, valves, and sprinkler heads. Your role bridges the gap between design blueprints and on-site execution, ensuring that every system is constructed exactly as specified while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
In this position, you will manage assigned projects in coordination with superintendents, general contractors, and your crew. A significant part of your day involves interpreting complex construction documents, coordinating schedules, and resolving field conflicts. You will also serve as a mentor, training sprinkler fitters and apprentices on all aspects of the trade while ensuring that all project close-out documentation, such as test papers and red-line drawings, is submitted accurately and on time.
Safety is the foundation of our operations. As a Foreman, you are expected to be the guardian of our safety culture on every job site. You must strictly adhere to SFS's Safety program, Hazardous Communication program, and SDS guidelines. This includes conducting and participating in weekly Toolbox talks and ensuring that all tools, equipment, and work areas remain clean, safe, and orderly at all times. You will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and maintain a vehicle that meets company standards.
