About the Role
The Fire Protection Project Manager serves as the central hub for planning and implementing the delivery of commercial fire protection construction projects. This role is critical for ensuring that sprinkler systems are designed and constructed with precision, adhering to strict design standards, budgets, and schedules.
In this position, you will oversee the total field trade construction effort while fostering a positive, safety-first environment on the project site. You will act as a bridge between internal departments—including pre-construction, sales, safety, and fabrication—and external stakeholders such as customers, subcontractors, and vendors. Your day-to-day involves reviewing plans for constructability, managing complex financial forecasts, and driving the project lifecycle from scope development through close-out activities.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate with internal departments to develop and maintain construction plans and schedules

- check_circleMonitor key metrics such as manpower and material deliveries to support timely project completion
- check_circlePrepare, monitor, and maintain project budgets, revenue forecasts, and cash flow analyses
- check_circleIdentify scope changes, prepare pricing, and submit potential change orders to customers
- check_circleRead and evaluate sprinkler system designs and coordinate sprinkler layouts
- check_circleOversee total fire protection field trade construction to ensure adherence to design, budget, and schedule
- check_circleManage subcontractor Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and change order processes
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- verified3+ years of Fire Protection project management experience
- verifiedProficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have
3+ years of experience as a Fire Protection Project Manager on commercial construction sites (with specific focus on commercial sprinkler systems). Familiarity with the BIM process. Prior experience with Procore - Project Management System. Prior military experience.
