About the Role
The Fire Extinguisher Technician is a vital part of our field operations, responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fire extinguishers in both residential and commercial spaces. This position is based out of our Charleston, South Carolina district office.
In this role, you will work alongside some of the best talent in the industry, utilizing your expertise to ensure safety compliance. You will perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections, as well as preventative maintenance services on various sized fire extinguishers. Your duties include repairing, replacing, filling, and tagging units, as well as servicing and testing equipment. You will also complete electronic or handwritten inspection reports and document all time worked and paperwork related to assigned tasks in a timely manner. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently and the willingness to use provided personal protective equipment.
