About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure safety and functionality for our clients. You will serve as the face of Koorsen, interacting with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner while ensuring they understand the functionality of their systems. This role is designed for someone who is up for the challenge of continuous learning and is committed to following all safety regulations and Koorsen's core values.
Hiring Process
If you are selected for an offer of employment, the hiring process includes the following steps:
- I-9 Verification: New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of hire to verify identity and right to work in the United States. We also verify employment eligibility via E-Verify.
- Background Checks: All positions require background checks involving criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Substance Abuse Screening: A urinalysis test for evidence of substance abuse is required upon receiving an offer of employment.

Requirements

- verifiedAble to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications

- verifiedNICET II, III, or IV (Preferred)
- verifiedFire Life Safety, Low Voltage or Security experience (Preferred)
- verifiedFire Alarm Manufacturer certifications (Preferred)
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Suite (Preferred)
- verifiedBasic understanding of IT functionality (Preferred)

Nice to Have
NICET II, III, or IV certification. Fire Life Safety, Low Voltage, or Security experience. Fire Alarm Manufacturer certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic understanding of IT functionality.
