About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Financial Data Analyst ready to take us to the next level. In this role, you will act as a bridge between project data and decision-making, enabling the PMO to effectively manage projects, optimize performance, and achieve strategic objectives. You will support portfolio management decision-making by providing insights into project financial performance, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and strategic alignment.
You will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and executive leadership to develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that facilitate financial transparency and project success. This position is a contract role and is onsite in Miramar, FL.
Due to specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

- check_circleDevelop and distribute regular project reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate performance to stakeholders

- check_circleCollaborate with project teams to improve data collection processes and reporting methods
- check_circleManage budget for assigned scope and internal labor in collaboration with Project Managers
- check_circleGather and analyze data from project management systems to track performance against KPIs, budgets, and timelines
- check_circleIdentify and analyze potential risks based on project data and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies
- check_circleSupport the implementation of new reports, tools, and processes while maintaining data standards
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- verified5+ years of financial management experience
- verified5+ years of advanced MS Excel experience
- verified5+ years of data analysis experience
- verified5+ years of experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- verified3+ years of experience creating presentations in PowerPoint
- verifiedProficient in Microsoft Office
- verifiedExperience with data analysis tools like SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
Nice to Have
Proven experience implementing or improving processes using Excel/data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Trello. Financial analytical skills, including spend curves, burn-rate, and rate-volume analysis.
