Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOwn the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- check_circleEnsure compliance with UK accounting standards and group accounting policies
- check_circleMaintain balance sheet integrity through monthly reconciliations and reviews
- check_circleAct as the primary liaison with group finance on technical accounting matters
- check_circleCoordinate statutory accounts preparation and manage the external audit process
- check_circlePrepare and review monthly management accounts in line with group reporting requirements
- check_circleSupport the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- check_circleSupport system, reporting, and process improvements including automation initiatives
- check_circleManage VAT returns processing and submission
- check_circleProvide line management, development, and performance management for the finance team
- check_circleMaintain and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures
- check_circleOversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, confirmations, and settlement processes
Requirements
- verified3 years or more experience
- verifiedACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- verifiedStrong technical accounting knowledge
- verifiedStrong Excel and financial systems experience
- verifiedEnglish (Native or bilingual proficiency)
Nice to Have
Experience working with Macros/VBA/SQL. Experience using finance software such as SAGE 200, IFS, or SAP.
