We are seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to plant and operations leadership at a growing global manufacturer. This is not a traditional close-heavy or transactional accounting role; rather, it is a true manufacturing FP&A seat designed for someone sharp, analytical, and confident enough to sit with plant managers, decipher complex numbers, and drive actionable results.
The ideal candidate blends strong product costing knowledge with the communication skills and business instincts necessary to influence operational decisions. You will own production controlling, product costing, forecasting, operational analytics, and capital investment analysis, with a clear focus on driving financial performance and cost transparency across manufacturing operations. The role reports to a highly supportive and development-focused finance leader who prioritizes coaching, autonomy, and career growth.
Your work will be a dynamic mix of deep-dive financial analysis and on-the-floor collaboration. You will partner directly with plant managers and operations leadership to improve cost, productivity, margins, and service levels. Expect to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor engaging with operations teams to understand the drivers behind the data. You will lead annual operating budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans, while providing structured variance analysis with root-cause insights. Additionally, you will act as a finance subject matter expert in continuous improvement initiatives, such as OEE, scrap reduction, and yield optimization, ensuring financial rigor supports strategic operational goals.
