TruBlue of North Idaho is a home services company dedicated to providing value and peace-of-mind to our customers. Our mission is to be the most professional property improvement service available, providing routine maintenance, repairs, and general upgrades for our clientele. We aim to elevate the quality of life for members of our community, improving one property at a time, and strive to be top of mind for our clients' needs.
Our culture is built on five core values: Excellence (doing it better than anyone else and taking pride in our work), Integrity (doing the right thing even when no one is looking), Loyalty (devotion to your job and the customer), Professionalism (achieving high standards in work and behavior), and Development (continuing to grow and helping others grow).
As an Assistant to the Field Tradesman, you will serve as a key support member of our field team, learning various trades while assisting with daily operations. This role is designed as a career path; by serving as an assistant, you will gain the experience necessary to be promoted to a Field Technician. You will thrive in a safe and fun work environment, enjoying direct customer interaction and the satisfaction of helping people.
In this position, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks with minimal supervision. You will be expected to treat people with respect, maintain a sincere and pleasant demeanor, and win the customers' confidence by offering additional value through checklists of other available repairs and services. The role requires a self-motivated individual who is detail-oriented, willing to be coached for development by other handyman technicians, and capable of handling physically demanding handyperson duties.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, honesty, and trustworthiness. We look for individuals who are passionate about their work and enjoy a variety of tasks. Please ensure you have a valid driver's license, current car insurance, and reliable transportation (preferably a truck in good condition). You must also own your own tools and know how to use them effectively.
