The Field Services Specialist for Overwatch serves as the primary subject matter expert for tooling fabrication, procurement, procedure management, and outage execution across both boiling water reactors (BWR) and pressurized water reactors (PWR). This position is critical for the successful execution of complex projects, specifically focusing on BWR 2-6 In Service Inspection (ISI). The role encompasses the management of in-vessel visual technology tooling, core verification, and reactor service maintenance activities.
As the single point of contact for outage execution, you will provide direct oversight to Overwatch Tooling Refurbishments and drive the continuous improvement of field processes. You will act as a strategic resource for colleagues, leading training initiatives and guiding craft labor through technical direction during power equipment outages. The role requires a proactive approach to seeking new technologies to upgrade the aging tool fleet and supporting capital investment strategies for fleet expansion in both BWR and PWR markets.
You will be part of a team dedicated to advancing nuclear energy services. This role integrates deep technical knowledge of BWR reactor internals and GEH In Vessel Visual tooling with commercial acumen. You will work closely with field services training and staffing teams to build robust field execution teams, ensuring that best practices are shared and that the organization remains competitive in the global market.
This position demands a high level of mobility and adaptability. Frequent travel is required, comprising 70% or more of the time, with travel to plant sites throughout the USA and internationally. Candidates must be willing and able to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated areas.
Note: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers are contingent upon the ability to obtain necessary authorization from the U.S. Government.
