About the Role
As a Field Service Technician based in Washington, DC, you will be the frontline guardian of our customers' operations. Your mission is to ensure continuity and high levels of satisfaction by installing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of equipment, including Point of Sale systems, self-service checkout terminals, servers, and handheld devices. You will own customer incidents from diagnosis to resolution, ensuring all work meets agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of on-site technical work and customer relationship building. You will perform preventative maintenance, execute modular swaps, and assist with site preparation tasks like cabling and equipment staging. Whether responding to immediate call-outs or managing your own schedule based on automated reports, you will represent NCR Voyix with integrity, building informal communication channels with local accounts while adhering to safety standards for working at heights and using power tools. This role requires flexibility, as you may be dispatched daily, work nights or weekends to support 24/7 coverage, and travel within your assigned territory to meet peak demand.
