As a Field Service Technician, you will join a team responsible for the seamless operation of our customers' gaming facilities. This entry-level position is designed for a hardworking, customer-focused individual who enjoys solving problems and engaging with people. You will be part of a group that brings immediate value to the organization by ensuring timely and efficient technical support.
In this role, you will travel to various locations to troubleshoot, convert, install, maintain, repair, and remove gaming machines, signs, and controllers. You will work with little assistance, self-directing your day-to-day tasks while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity. The role involves responding promptly to customer calls and emergency requests, performing routine maintenance, and gathering accurate data on service activities. You will also complete a robust, hands-on, and virtual training program during your first six months to prepare you for the demands of the job.
This position is subject to mandatory background screening and regulatory approvals. As Aristocrat operates in a highly regulated environment with licenses in over 340 gaming jurisdictions worldwide, successful candidates will be required to provide relevant personal and background information to government agencies and gaming regulatory bodies as a condition of employment. This may include criminal background checks, fingerprinting, and obtaining necessary gaming licenses, which Aristocrat will assist with upon hire.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the job posting location on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. We welcome applications from all people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, cultural background, disability status, or LGBTQ+ identity.
This role requires daily travel within an assigned territory, with regional and national travel potentially up to 75%. You will operate designated service vehicles equipped with GPS and real-time camera monitoring systems, as well as box trucks. The work environment includes crowded, noisy, and smoky casino settings. You must be able to lift and move significant weights, climb ladders, and operate vehicles for extended periods. The position demands flexibility to travel with little or no notice and to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple tasks must be prioritized.
