About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will serve as the vital link between Rockwell Automation and our customers within the Indiana and Kentucky regions. This role is designed for those who thrive on applying technical expertise to on-site projects while building strong customer relationships.
You will oversee field service deliverables, establish operational quality, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day involves performing on-site installation services, diagnosing complex equipment, and troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing automation control systems and advanced manufacturing software applications. Beyond technical execution, you will act as the company liaison for administrative and technical matters, instructing customers on system operation and maintenance.
This position offers a hybrid work model. While you will report to the Territory Services Manager and work primarily remotely from your assigned location, the role requires significant travel (approximately 50%) throughout your service area using a company vehicle. Expectations include day and overnight trips to customer sites to ensure project success.
