This role offers a dynamic career path for a Field Service Technician Engineer focused on industrial food preparation and cooking equipment. You will be the critical link between complex machinery and customer success, ensuring seamless operations in processing and packaging plants.
As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to customer sites to install, repair, and upgrade a wide array of automated machinery. Your day-to-day involves working with diverse equipment including flow fillers, baggers, pouchers, fryers, ovens, roasters, and vacuum fried systems used for products ranging from potato chips to confectionery.
Beyond technical maintenance, a key part of your mission is knowledge transfer. You will train machine operators on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and components, empowering them to maximize efficiency and uptime. You will troubleshoot and service mechanical, electrical, control, and automation systems, ensuring that everything from stepper drives to hydraulic valves functions perfectly.
