About the Role
The Field Safety Manager exists to promote and elevate safety on jobsites to the highest possible level. This role is designed to work both independently and in close collaboration with ESCO Project Teams to cultivate a safe workplace environment. By leveraging extensive knowledge of OSHA Standards and State and Local Regulations, the Safety Manager provides regular guidance to project teams, addresses immediate hazards, and proactively manages potential hazardous exposures. The ultimate goal is to foster a robust culture of safety within ESCO Construction that drives Incident and Injury Free Performance.
In this position, you will provide day-to-day safety and health support tailored to achieve ESCO Construction objectives. Your day will involve conducting effective investigations of incidents and near misses, developing final reports, and ensuring follow-up corrective actions are implemented. You will also lead audits of project sites to verify compliance and identify unsafe conditions, while maintaining the necessary documentation to adhere to Site-Specific Safety Plans and all applicable regulations. Success in this role requires interacting with general contractors and subcontractor safety personnel to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent accidents from recurring.

Requirements
- verified2 Year college degree (A.A or A.S) preferred
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years construction experience with underground utilities and excavation
