About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist (Ventilator Support) serves as a Field Clinician dedicated to delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. This role is designed to combine hands-on patient care with education and collaboration, ensuring safe, coordinated, and high-quality outcomes outside the hospital environment.

In this position, you will work closely with physicians and care teams to support patient transitions from the hospital to home. You will act as a clinical resource, collaborating proactively with peers and interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to instruct patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on ventilator units, supplies, and proper equipment use.
