The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) serves as a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers within a designated geographic territory. This role is designed to bridge the gap between AbbVie's immunology portfolio and the complex landscape of patient access. By engaging directly with healthcare provider offices, the FRM addresses critical reimbursement inquiries, offering expertise on coverage challenges, payer processes, and the utilization of AbbVie's support tools.
The position focuses on educating providers, bio coordinators, and office staff on patient support programs, access strategies, and product acquisition options, including specialty pharmacy networks. The FRM also provides localized insights into national and regional payer policies, coding changes, and claims submission methodologies, ensuring seamless prescription status tracking and program eligibility for patients.
Territory and Location
This field-based role requires candidates to reside within a reasonable distance of the primary cities in the assigned territory. The designated area includes Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland in Ohio, as well as Dayton, Louisville, and Lexington in Kentucky, along with their surrounding areas.
