As one of Leidos' oldest and largest programs supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the NAS Integration Support Contract (NISC) Program is dedicated to the FAA's Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) initiative. This role specifically supports the Radar Surveillance Replacement (RSR) Program Office (AJM-41) by serving as an RSR Field Engineer on the program office's implementation and disposition teams.
You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to the RSR program office, implementation, and engineering leads. Your primary mission is to support installation and disposition activities at some of the nation's busiest and most critical airports. You will represent the Program Office at RSR sites, executing against an aggressive multi-site schedule. This involves participating in final planning and site preparation, including the development of site implementation plans and necessary site visits. Additionally, you will provide onsite installation and construction consultation, advising contractors on requirements based on design drawings and the statement of work (SOW).
This position requires high travel, expected to be 75% of the time, to support sites across the country.
At Leidos, we outthink, outbuild, and outpace the status quo because the mission demands it. We are not hiring followers; we are recruiting those who disrupt, provoke, and refuse to fail. While Step 10 is ancient history, we are already at Step 30 and moving faster than anyone else dares.
This requisition is anticipated to remain open for at least 3 days with a close date no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date. For U.S. positions, the posting may be subject to change based on business needs.
