Stantec is looking for a driven Field Ecologist to conduct impactful work across Florida and the Gulf region. You will join a team providing permitting strategy, environmental assessment, and application preparation, offering technical support for projects requiring municipal, provincial/state, and federal environmental approvals.
As a Field Ecologist, you will work in a highly dynamic team environment alongside biologists, ecologists, water resource specialists, ecosystem restoration engineers, NEPA specialists, environmental planners, and regulatory experts. This position offers a blend of field and office work, involving extensive travel and several days or weeks in the field away from home. You will tackle a variety of projects including wetland delineations, Clean Water Act permitting, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments, stream sampling, habitat restoration, and complex planning for industries such as renewable energy, transportation, power, government, and development.
