F&B Inventory Accounting Clerk (FT)

About the Role

This position serves as a vital support function within the Food and Beverage department, bridging the gap between purchase order creation and the final delivery of goods to F&B outlets. The role is designed to ensure the seamless daily processing of food, beverage, and dry stock requisitions, maintaining the integrity of inventory and financial records throughout the supply chain.

You will act as a key liaison in the office environment, managing the creation and maintenance of items within the purchasing system. Your day-to-day involves posting requisitions and purchase orders, while also collaborating closely with the F&B Controller and outlet managers to conduct monthly inventories. A significant part of the role includes the ongoing cost analysis of recipes, requiring precision and a strong grasp of numerical data.

Success in this role requires more than just technical proficiency; it demands a positive attitude and the ability to build good rapport with fellow employees and resort personnel. You will be expected to maintain open lines of communication with your supervisor, manage office files efficiently, and adhere to the company's grooming and dress standards. While the core hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, flexibility is required to accommodate month-end processing exceptions.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Accounting and demonstrate comfort in an office setting with strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office products. The ideal applicant will have the mental agility to meet daily, monthly, and annual deadlines while performing complex calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
