Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking highly patient-centric physicians to join the Department of Family Medicine as Core Faculty in the Dignity Health East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program. Located in Gilbert, Arizona, this role offers a unique blend of clinical practice and academic leadership within a "Clinic of the Future" designed for modern patient care.
As a Core Faculty member, you will serve as a vital link between clinical practice and medical education. You will teach medical students, Physician Assistant students, and other learners while providing high-quality care to an average of 18-24 patients per day. The position features a flexible schedule, allowing you to work either four longer days or five regular days. Your time is split between outpatient duties (Monday–Friday) and inpatient responsibilities (every fourth week or less frequently), with no outpatient duties required during inpatient weeks.
You will work alongside dedicated Medical Assistants and on-site RNs, supported by an integrated Behavioral Health Faculty member and Collaborative Care Model available across all department sites. Beyond clinical and teaching duties, you will have opportunities to engage in both sponsor and investigator-initiated research projects, with institutional support for scholarly activity and medical education skills.
This position includes an academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix. The rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) is open and determined based on your prior experience and academic output.
