About the Role
We are launching a foundational initiative to redefine rural maternal care through our new Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship Program. This mission-driven project aims to improve access to high-quality maternal care for underserved rural women and children. As a core faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of family medicine obstetrics training while providing full-spectrum obstetrical care, including surgical obstetrics.
In this role, you will partner with a collaborative team of OB/GYNs, family physicians, and residents to mentor the next generation of physicians. You will lead outreach efforts to underserved communities, foster a pro-woman, pro-child philosophy in all clinical and academic work, and contribute to curriculum development. The hospital's laborist program is designed to support a balanced lifestyle by minimizing night and weekend call commitments, allowing you to focus on teaching, innovation, and community impact.
