About the Role
Join the Mercy South Float Pool Team in St. Louis, MO, if you are a dynamic Registered Nurse who thrives on variety, challenge, and continuous learning. This role is designed for nurses who want to expand their clinical expertise while making a meaningful impact across multiple units. You will utilize the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, coordinating efforts with various departments to ensure seamless service.
As a float nurse, you will experience a fast-paced, rewarding environment that exposes you to diverse units and patient populations. This flexibility allows you to sharpen your assessment, communication, and teamwork skills while working in settings ranging from Orthopedics and Med/Surg to ICU, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Oncology, and Neurology. Whether you prefer 12-hour shifts or 8-hour evening shifts, this position offers the schedule flexibility you need while you grow your career.
