Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) powers everything from industry innovations to life-saving care, with AI embedded across our products and services to impact billions of lives. Our global platform group ensures mission-critical data centers operate reliably across regions and continents, influencing infrastructure security, sustainability, and long-term capacity growth. We are a technically rigorous environment where disciplined execution and technical depth matter, working alongside experienced engineers, automation specialists, and compliance teams in a rapidly scaling hyperscale cloud infrastructure.
This role is the operational heartbeat of the mechanical plant in Saline, Michigan. You will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure—including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, and associated controls—ensuring uptime is protected and work is executed safely and consistently to Oracle standards. Unlike design-focused roles, this position is dedicated to service execution, plant readiness, and the immediate response to operational challenges.
As the primary site point of contact for mechanical systems, you will lead daily operations, manage maintenance backlogs, and drive troubleshooting for mechanical failures. You will serve as the technical lead for incident escalation, partnering with engineering and commissioning teams on retrofits and system turnarounds. Your day involves managing Facilities Technicians, contractors, and vendors while championing safe work practices and environmental compliance. You will also coach frontline staff to strengthen their troubleshooting capabilities and ensure audit-ready documentation is maintained across all systems.
Candidates for this onsite role must be U.S. citizens. The application process typically accepts submissions for at least three calendar days from the posting date. For accessibility assistance or accommodation requests during the employment process, please contact accommodation-request_mb@oracle.com or call 1-888-404-2494 in the United States.
