About RTX and Pratt & Whitney

At RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, 185,000 great minds are united by purpose to solve the world's most complex problems. With three market-leading businesses and world-class operations, we push the boundaries of known science to connect and protect our world.

Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems. For over 100 years, we have been revolutionizing modern flight. Join us to help shape the future of aerospace and defense.

About the Role

The Facilities & Tooling Manager serves as a critical leader within Pratt & Whitney Engine Services (PWES), responsible for driving equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational uptime in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment, facilities systems, and tooling assets that support production objectives.

You will lead a medium-sized team of skilled trades professionals, technicians, and engineers, overseeing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and facilities functions. Your day-to-day involves partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, EH&S, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives. From managing preventative maintenance programs to leading capital projects from concept through execution, you will be instrumental in maintaining the infrastructure that powers the future of flight.

Hiring Process and Application

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted, though business necessity may alter this timeline.

Our Culture and Commitment

RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. We provide affirmative action in employment for qualified individuals with a disability and protected veterans in compliance with federal regulations.

We are transforming how and where we work. This role is designated as Onsite, meaning employees will work primarily onsite as production and maintenance workers are essential to engine development. Candidates are responsible for their own commuting to the assigned site in Bridgeport, WV.
