About the Role
As a Tax Expert – Retail On-Site, you will combine deep tax expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow TurboTax's presence in your local community. This unique seasonal role is designed for individuals who want to be more than just a service provider; you will act as a proactive community ambassador, a business builder, and a trusted advisor.
In this position, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location, leveraging our marketing support and state-of-the-art software to build a thriving client base. Your day will involve a mix of in-person and virtual interactions, where you will guide customers through everything from simple filings to complex business tax situations. Beyond preparation, you will conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and offer future tax planning advice. You will also lead local events and engage with prospects to turn one-time transactions into long-term, multi-year relationships.
This role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and offers the chance to showcase your expertise in local and national marketing efforts. You will be empowered to create accessible tax content and resources, fostering a culture of financial literacy and prosperity within your community.
