About the Role

As a Tax Expert – Retail On-Site, you will serve as the public face of TurboTax in your local community. This unique opportunity allows you to grow TurboTax's client base while empowering individuals to achieve their financial goals, whether saving for retirement, college funds, or vacations. You will act as a trusted advisor, alleviating the stress often associated with tax season by connecting with customers on a personal level.

In this nonexempt, onsite role, you will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to build a thriving business that benefits both you and your community. You will serve customers both in-person and virtually, utilizing state-of-the-art video communication tools to provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support. Your ability to translate complex tax situations into personalized, everyday language is critical to your success.

Hiring Process and Application

To join our team, you must possess an active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
