About the Role
FedEx Ground is hiring immediately for delivery drivers in Sparrows Point, MD, covering routes in the East Baltimore area and Pikesville. We are seeking reliable individuals with a strong safety record, though we are committed to training the right candidates who may not yet have specific FedEx experience. The ideal driver will ensure safe and efficient practices on the road while maintaining positive, professional relationships with customers, fellow drivers, and service managers.
What You Will Do
As a driver, you will operate FedEx routes to deliver products to homes, retail locations, and businesses. Your day will involve sorting and preparing delivery routes to meet customer promises, using handheld technology to manage delivery progress and complete pickups on time, and addressing customer requests with a solution-oriented approach. You will also be responsible for ensuring your delivery vehicle is always clean, fueled, and in good operating condition, and may assist with general tasks at the delivery station when appropriate.
