The Expeditor serves as a critical liaison across engineering, purchasing, production, quality, and shipping departments. This role is designed to ensure on-time delivery by monitoring and accelerating the progress of fabrication jobs, particularly within the Oil & Gas and manufacturing sectors. Acting as a proactive force, the Expeditor facilitates rush orders, identifies bottlenecks, and drives timely resolutions to keep the project lifecycle moving seamlessly.
In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and customers regarding production status. Your day-to-day involves examining documents and materials for compliance, tracking production activities against schedules, and preparing detailed progress reports. You will collaborate closely with shipping and accounting to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery, while also providing required documentation to clients. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels to maintain transparency and customer satisfaction.
