About the Role

This position supports a critical requirement from USSOCOM to conduct Realistic Military Training (RMT) combat scenarios across various locations in the United States. These exercises utilize simulated and blank fire training aides to ensure operational readiness. The Site Manager serves as the primary liaison to the Lead Range Safety Officer (LRSO) and acts as the central point of coordination for Assistant Site Managers and Opposition Force (OPFOR) role players.

In this role, you will manage the logistical and operational integrity of the training environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating transportation for role players to ensure they meet scenario requirements, managing all contracted firearms, safety gear, and wardrobe, and overseeing equipment cleaning. You will also enforce strict Operational Security (OPSEC) protocols, ensuring no photographs or video recordings are taken and that cell phones are prohibited during training evolutions.

The Site Manager holds the authority to remove contracted personnel immediately for performance shortfalls, safety risks, or OPSEC violations, and is responsible for securing immediate replacements. Availability is required one day prior to training commencement for face-to-face coordination with the LRSO, as well as during core government work hours. The role demands physical stamina to manage role players during iteration training for up to eight hours per day and the ability to navigate challenging terrain, including climbing ten flights of stairs.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess an active SECRET Clearance and documented operational experience working directly with U.S. Special Operation Forces (SOF) or have executed a minimum of four contracts supporting 45 or more role players. Experience as a U.S. SOF Close Quarter Combat (CQC) Range Safety Officer is essential.
