Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleManage and mentor kitchen staff under the Executive Chef
  • check_circleOperate and clean all food preparation equipment such as grills, ovens, and mixers
  • check_circleTaste food before serving and apply appropriate garnishes to plates
  • check_circlePrepare and cook food using various methods including baking, frying, and steaming
  • check_circleSupervise kitchen operations and prepare menus in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • check_circleEnsure meals meet high standards for quality, presentation, and dietary needs
  • check_circleComply with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements

Requirements

  • verified3-5 years related work experience including kitchen supervisory experience in hotel or restaurant
  • verified5+ years related work experience including kitchen supervisory experience in hotel or restaurant (preferred)
  • verifiedScratch cooking experience
  • verifiedFine dining and/or Country Club cooking experience
  • verifiedExperience with dietary restrictions and modified diets (preferred)
  • verifiedAssociates degree in culinary arts or formal culinary education (strongly preferred)

Nice to Have

5+ years of related work experience including kitchen supervisory experience in a hotel or restaurant environment. Experience with dietary restrictions and modified diets. Associates degree in culinary arts or other formal culinary education and/or advanced training.
