Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and mentor kitchen staff under the Executive Chef
- check_circleTaste food and apply appropriate garnishes before serving
- check_circleOperate and clean all food preparation equipment and maintain health compliance
- check_circlePrepare and cook food using various methods including baking, broiling, and steaming
- check_circleEnsure meals meet high standards for quality, presentation, and dietary needs
- check_circleOversee food preparation tasks such as washing, trimming, cutting, and portioning
- check_circleCreate and execute menus in the absence of the Executive Chef
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 3-5 years of related work experience including kitchen supervisory experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
- verifiedScratch cooking experience
- verifiedFine dining and/or Country Club cooking experience
- verifiedAssociates degree in culinary arts or other formal culinary education and/or advanced training
