In this role, you will lead and oversee daily kitchen operations, including fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and guest service standards. You will execute menu strategies to produce short-term profitability and work alongside the Executive Chef to develop and execute tactics to achieve business goals.
You will be responsible for executing policies, operating procedures, training programs, and directives for the staff, while maintaining the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness. Your duties include interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction, reacting to complaints with appropriate action, and working alongside the service team to ensure a seamless experience between the kitchen and dining room. You will also assist the Executive Chef with Human Resources responsibilities, fostering a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, and employee satisfaction.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or related field preferred.
Bachelor's Degree or related field. Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement. Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant or previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant. Pastry instructor experience specializing in plated desserts high end production.
