About the Role
The Executive Housekeeper serves as the leader for the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments at the Avid Hotel in Van Horn, TX. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while driving operational efficiency. You will coordinate all activities within these departments, ensuring that every guestroom meets our rigorous quality benchmarks before a guest arrives.
In this position, you will act as a mentor and guide for your team, providing both written and verbal direction through meetings, training sessions, and scheduling. Your day will involve inspecting guestrooms, overseeing laundry operations, managing inventory and supplies, and responding immediately to guest concerns. You will also play a key role in the hotel's broader management by participating in the Manager on Duty program and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Hiring Process
Candidates for this role should possess prior hospitality experience, specifically two or more years as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a property of similar size and business volume. A High School Diploma is required, with a College Degree preferred.
