Founded in 2017, Butler Hospitality was created to modernize the hospitality industry. Operating on a hub-and-spoke model, the company acquires and monetizes rooms through a proprietary digital platform. Butler delivers high-quality food and services to hotel guests regardless of brand, management company, or ownership group. Backed by over $50 million in venture capital, the company is growing rapidly and expanding its footprint across the nation.
We are seeking talented Executive Chefs to join our growing teams and run the show for our Food and Beverage departments within partner hotels throughout the USA. This role is centered at our Chicago/ORD location, where you will oversee day-to-day back-of-house operations.
As an Executive Chef, you will be instrumental in opening new restaurants and building teams ranging from 40 to 50 members. You will manage production staff, maintain kitchen SOPs for a clean and efficient workplace, and ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation guidelines. The position requires monitoring P&L and COGS to hit targets of approximately $5-7 million annually, while mastering Butler's ordering and inventory systems to train staff on our specific menu items and recipes.
Butler offers a dynamic environment for culinary leaders who thrive in fast-paced settings with minimal supervision. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401k plan match. We support your well-being with flexible scheduling and provide shift meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as culinary uniforms. Most importantly, we are committed to your professional growth and development.
Butler Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
