About the Role
As the Event Manager for Bar Luna, you will lead the development and introduction of our new evening entertainment venue. This role is pivotal in establishing a strong reputation for Bar Luna within the event industry while laying the groundwork for future dining concepts. You will drive sales efforts for weddings, corporate meetings, birthday parties, and other events, ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.
In this position, you will take charge of developing Friday and Saturday night events featuring live music, light culinary options, and a full beverage program. Your day-to-day will involve implementing strategies to aggressively pursue business, preparing estimates and proposals, and negotiating contracts. You will also be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and managing the staff required for event execution, including coordinators, banquet servers, and bartenders.
The ideal candidate thrives in rapidly changing environments and demonstrates a love for autonomy and teamwork. You will be creative, trendy, and charismatic, using the latest sales and marketing techniques to think outside the box and meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
