About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, managing the bid process, and helping position projects for successful execution. The Estimator plays a critical role in the continued growth and success of Engen Contracting, leading preconstruction efforts for ground-up and tenant improvement commercial projects.

This position goes beyond developing complete and competitive estimates; it involves helping the company pursue the right opportunities, building strong trade partner engagement, and creating a clean handoff into operations. The ideal candidate understands that estimating is not simply about numbers—it is about risk management, relationship development, and thoughtful project planning before construction begins. You will ensure bids are competitive, thorough, and strategically positioned, serving as a bridge between the bidding phase and successful project execution.
