The Commercial Construction Project Engineer role is designed for college graduates, Veterans, and individuals passionate about elevating the business of building. This opportunity is part of our award-winning HITT Futures Program, a structured, one-year development plan focused on mentorship, hands-on learning, and professional growth. The program provides an immersive, on-site experience with tailored training topics, designed to give you the confidence to shape your career and lead the next era of construction. Successful completion of this program offers a fast track to promotion to an assistant-level project manager or superintendent.

As a Project Engineer in this program, you will commit to being fully onsite for the duration of the 12-month training. You will shadow, learn, and gain hands-on experience with the day-to-day operations of your assigned projects, working under the guidance of a dedicated Futures Program Sponsor. You will participate in performance reviews every four months to ensure knowledge retention and development goals are met. Military experience or four-year degree from an accredited university within the Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business concentrations. Previous experience on commercial job sites.
Skills: Microsoft Office 365, Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Procore, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, JD Edwards.
Education: High school diploma required; Four-year degree from an accredited university in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business preferred.
