Inventory Control Supervisor — Midland, TX at Endurance

About the Role

The Inventory Control Supervisor serves as a critical guardian of inventory integrity across all assigned warehouses and pump shops. This role exists to ensure the precise quantity and quality of stock, directly optimizing inventory investment and enhancing customer service levels. By managing the verification process and maintaining accurate records, the supervisor ensures that the organization's assets are accounted for and available when needed.

Day in the Life

Your work will involve a blend of data analysis and on-site coordination. You will verify inventory levels using corporate and site-specific cycle count procedures, generating daily count sheets and managing recounts for any variances exceeding acceptable tolerances. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to researching transaction histories to identify the root causes of errors, documenting these incidents, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.

Beyond the desk, you will oversee physical counts to ensure strict adherence to company policy, assisting with variance research and preparing approval requests with necessary documentation. You will also provide hands-on guidance to assigned locations regarding bin location maintenance, which may require travel to assist with the organization and setup of inventory and shelving. Additionally, you will process inventory transactions, monitor negative and in-transit stock, and prepare monthly accuracy reports for management.

Safety and Environment

Safety and environmental performance are foundational to this position. You are expected to complete all work in a safe manner, actively participating in all company safety training to support TRIR goals and environmental performance targets. The work environment is primarily an on-site office located within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours, though the role frequently extends to warehouses, pump shops, and meeting venues as required.
