This position is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment within the Dallas Independent School District. As an educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum program while accommodating diverse student learning styles. Your role involves presenting subject matter in accordance with guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, the Board of Trustees, and administrative regulations.
Beyond instruction, you will establish efficient classroom management procedures and maintain high standards of pupil behavior. The role requires a commitment to continuous evaluation of student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with parents and the community through activities such as open houses and PTA meetings. You will also collaborate with professional staff to assess and support student needs, including health and attitude challenges, and may be called upon to plan and coordinate the work of aides and student teachers.
The work environment typically features a moderate noise level. Travel throughout the district is an integral part of this position. Please note that this is a campus-based role; a remote working environment or alternate work arrangement is not an option. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is essential for performing all duties effectively.
