Based at our Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) facility, this position is dedicated to identifying and mitigating defect excursions within semiconductor fabs. You will serve as a critical link between process areas and manufacturing, providing early indications of the viability of process conversions and ensuring the seamless transfer of recipes and techniques from R&D.
In this role, you will coordinate the installation, modification, upgrade, relocation, and maintenance of Real-Time Defect Analysis (RDA) equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing production support by monitoring and reacting to Out-of-Control (OOC) and Out-of-Specification (OOS) SPC charts, writing and solving inspection recipes, and acting as a backup for optical or e-beam tool owner groups. You will also study equipment performance and reliability to establish programs that increase uptime and solve manufacturing process problems.
