About Micron Technology

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. As a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions, we accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate, and advance faster than ever.

About the Role

Based at our Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) facility, this position is dedicated to identifying and mitigating defect excursions within semiconductor fabs. You will serve as a critical link between process areas and manufacturing, providing early indications of the viability of process conversions and ensuring the seamless transfer of recipes and techniques from R&D.

In this role, you will coordinate the installation, modification, upgrade, relocation, and maintenance of Real-Time Defect Analysis (RDA) equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing production support by monitoring and reacting to Out-of-Control (OOC) and Out-of-Specification (OOS) SPC charts, writing and solving inspection recipes, and acting as a backup for optical or e-beam tool owner groups. You will also study equipment performance and reliability to establish programs that increase uptime and solve manufacturing process problems.

Hiring Process & Application

Micron is committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. Candidates are encouraged to use AI tools to enhance their resume and application materials, provided all information remains accurate and reflects true skills and experiences. Misuse of AI to fabricate qualifications will result in immediate disqualification.

To apply, please visit our official careers website. For US sites only, if you require assistance with the application process or reasonable accommodations, please contact Micron's People Organization at hrsupport_na@micron.com or 1-800-336-8918 (select option #3).

We consider qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, protected veteran status, gender identity, or any other factor protected by applicable laws. We are dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth, offering a robust benefits package designed to help you stay well and prepare for the future.

Micron prohibits the use of child labor and complies with all applicable labor standards. We also do not charge candidates any recruitment fees or unlawfully collect payments as consideration for employment.
