We are seeking a Senior Automation Technical Professional to join our Houston office. This role is designed for a strong problem solver and leader who can think outside the box and take initiative to address complex technical challenges. You will be part of a team that works effectively as both an individual engineer and a collaborative team member, serving both internal and external customers.
In this position, you will participate in the full lifecycle of automation projects, from front-end engineering through commissioning. Your day-to-day will involve designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects. You will engage in hands-on activities including site surveys, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and commissioning. The role also requires reviewing project schedules and cost estimates, as well as supporting procurement efforts with vendor lists and technical evaluations. While this is a hybrid role based in Houston, TX, you can expect to travel to customer locations for project implementation approximately 25% of the time.
