At TC Energy, we are proud to connect the world to the energy it needs. Guided by our values of safety in every step, personal accountability, one team, and active learning, we deliver the critical energy that North America and the world rely on while balancing reliability, affordability, and sustainability.
We are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Every day, our dedicated team moves over 30 percent of the cleaner-burning natural gas used across the continent. Complemented by strategic ownership and low-risk investments in power generation, our infrastructure fuels industries and generates affordable, reliable, and sustainable power across North America, while enabling LNG exports to global markets.
The Environmental Analyst serves as a pivotal link between corporate strategy and on-the-ground execution, primarily supporting TC Energy facilities and projects throughout Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana. Reporting to the Manager, US Environmental Services, this role is designed for those who are determined, imaginative, and curious, ready to ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations while managing complex environmental programs.
In this position, you will develop and manage environmental projects ranging from compliance reporting and waste/water sampling to permitting and risk assessment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across US Environment, Corporate Governance, Project Management, and Operations to ensure that facility, regional, and corporate goals are effectively communicated and implemented. The role involves a dynamic day-to-day rhythm: reviewing and improving risk management models, coordinating corrective actions identified during audits and inspections, and mentoring personnel to ensure the integrity of environmental data for both internal scorecards and external reporting.
This is a field-intensive role based at the Moline Field Office, where a company vehicle will be provided. You will travel to other company locations for facility support, emergency spill response, meetings, training, and inspections, which may involve overnight stays and cross-border travel. The position operates within a hybrid work model with a flexible dress code, reflecting our commitment to a high-performance culture and flexibility.
To remain competitive and support our high-performance culture, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a driver's abstract for review. Additionally, as this position requires cross-border travel, candidates must be able to provide applicable documentation.
All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based without restrictions. Background screening, which may include criminal and/or credit checks, is required for all positions. Offers may be extended at a different level or job title that best aligns with the successful candidate's qualifications.
