About the Role
The Environmental Services Technician is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients and staff. This role goes beyond routine cleaning; it involves keeping buildings in orderly condition while performing heavy-duty tasks such as shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. You will play a key part in the clinic's daily operations by assisting the maintenance department with grounds keeping and performing routine maintenance activities. Additionally, you will support the Environmental Services Supervisor with oversight of the second shift Environmental Specialists, ensuring quality customer service is delivered to everyone we serve.

- check_circleDust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment
- check_circleMix chemicals and cleaning solutions to wash windows, walls, ceilings, and doors
- check_circleRestock every exam room on a nightly basis
- check_circleClean and maintain supplies in restrooms
- check_circleMove and arrange furniture and equipment
- check_circleReplace lights and adjust shades and blinds
- check_circleLock and unlock doors; turn lights and machines on and off; set alarms
- check_circleOperate light duty equipment and machinery, and clean and care for it
- check_circleClear sidewalks and parking lots during inclement weather days
- check_circleAssist maintenance department with grounds keeping and other duties as needed
Requirements
