Key Responsibilities
- check_circleClean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and corridors according to established schedules
- check_circlePerform discharge and terminal cleaning for isolation rooms following infection prevention precautions
- check_circleCollect, remove, and properly dispose of trash, linen, and regulated medical waste
- check_circleReplenish disposable items such as soap, paper towels, and sanitizer dispensers
- check_circleClean and disinfect equipment and furniture including beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs
- check_circleRespond promptly to service calls for spills, bodily fluid cleanups, and room turnarounds
- check_circleDust and spot-clean high and low surfaces, vents, and high-touch areas to reduce infection risk
- check_circleFollow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and using personal protective equipment
- check_circleDocument tasks and communicate status updates using assigned tracking systems
- check_circleProvide courteous customer service while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- check_circleStock and maintain EVS supply carts and closets with necessary cleaning materials
Requirements

- verifiedPrevious housekeeping experience in a hospital setting preferred
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and speak English
