About the Opportunity
Vaco is recruiting for an EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance across U.S. manufacturing and distribution facilities. This direct-hire role offers a competitive salary of $120,000–$130,000 annually plus a bonus, with flexibility to sit in Afton, TN; Danville, KY; Ripley, TN; or Forest City, NC.
The Role
In this position, you will partner with plant leadership, the Corporate EHS Lead, HR, Legal, and other corporate teams to ensure adherence to environmental, health, safety, and product safety regulations. Your mission is to design, implement, and oversee EHS policies and programs that minimize regulatory risk while maintaining an efficient and cost-effective operation.
You will serve as a technical expert on hazardous waste, wastewater, OSHA compliance, and industrial hygiene. The role involves managing EHS due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures, coordinating with regulatory agencies and external counsel, and leading special projects. You will also oversee external consultants, manage remediation efforts, and drive continuous improvement in plant-wide safety performance data.

Requirements
