Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults with the skills and support needed to launch successful careers. Through four unique career pathways, participants receive in-classroom skill development, access to internships, job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. The program is built on the belief that with the right training and opportunities, young adults can achieve economic mobility and professional growth.
If you are passionate about building relationships or possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are eager to gain exposure to running a business, the Customer Experience pathway may be the right fit for you. This pathway combines technical and professional training in Banking or Customer Success with direct access to internships and job placement support through YUPRO Placement, our industry-leading talent placement firm.
Internships within this pathway offer the opportunity to work with leading organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including JPMorganChase and Bank of America. The experience is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in product and service knowledge, a customer-centric mindset, and finance training, alongside essential professional business and communication skills.
Participants in the program gain more than just technical skills; they develop a robust toolkit for career success. This includes resume building, interviewing and networking skills, and ongoing support and guidance to help launch a professional career. During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
Career growth paths for graduates include roles in financial advisory, sales specialist, product support, sales operations and analytics, and patient services. The program's impact is significant: 72% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
