About the Role

As a Junior Process Engineer, you will ensure that production casting processes are performed as designed and quoted. This role exists to support the Engineering and Production teams through process verification, continuous improvement activities, and optimization. You will be the bridge between technical specifications and manufacturing reality, working closely with Tooling and Manufacturing engineers to ensure parts are produced in compliance with specifications throughout the cell.

Your day-to-day involves monitoring die cast performance, documenting process issues, and conducting root cause analysis. You will participate in PFMEA creation, control plans, and product development processes to ensure flawless launches. A key part of your mission is to optimize process parameters to maximize die life, mitigate thermal stress, and work with suppliers to design dedicated spray manifolds. You will also play a vital role in training and developing process Setters and Optimizers, while supporting emergency breakdowns and new project startups.
