About the Role
This 9-month contract role is based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and focuses on optimizing plant and production facilities. As an Industrial Engineer 3, you will analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to drive efficiency. You will establish methods for the maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel, while potentially managing training programs and accident prevention measures.
A core component of this position involves creating, maintaining, and statusing network-based Master Production Schedules. You will work deeply with critical path schedule network processing, utilizing logic, durations, and date constraints. The role requires expertise in IMP/IMS schedule structures and Work Breakdown Structures, as well as exporting schedule data to Excel to report status and productivity metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
Work Schedule & Location
This position is on-site with no telecommuting options available. The work shift is Monday through Thursday from 0700 to 1642, and Friday from 0700 to 1100. This schedule results in a 9-hour day Monday through Thursday and a 4-hour day on Friday.
Hiring Process & Application
Candidates must be willing to work within the specified schedule and location. Per diem is available only for candidates living outside a 50-mile radius of the work location, paid in accordance with GSA rates. Suppliers and contract houses must have access to PLSC2 software to participate in this requisition.
