Based at the Courtyard Bloomingdale, the Engineer, Level 1 plays a vital role in ensuring the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to customers and employees. This position serves as the frontline guardian of the hotel's physical infrastructure, requiring a blend of technical expertise and a service-oriented mindset.
In this role, you will be the go-to problem solver for a wide array of maintenance needs, from complex HVAC systems and plumbing repairs to furniture fixes and electronic lock programming. Your day-to-day involves proactive preventive maintenance on critical equipment like boilers and chillers, ensuring safety and efficiency across the property. Beyond technical tasks, you will be a key representative of the hotel's standards, interacting with guests and team members with attentiveness, courtesy, and a focus on resolving concerns effectively.
