Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a Project Finance Associate to join its nationally recognized Energy & Infrastructure practice. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with renewable energy project finance experience, particularly involving debt and tax equity transactions.
This role offers the opportunity to represent sponsors, lenders, tax equity investors, and other financing parties in connection with the development, acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects across the United States. The position is open across multiple locations including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, and Houston.
As a Project Finance Associate, you will work directly with clients, lenders, investors, and third-party advisors to structure and manage complex transactions from inception through closing. You will play a key role in drafting and negotiating critical documents, including loan agreements, security documents, tax equity partnership agreements, and lease structures. In addition to transaction execution, you will coordinate transaction teams, manage due diligence and closings, and mentor junior associates.
